ok when im constructing a enclosure. i want to end up with about 2.5 cu ft. my subs displacement is .14 and im going to do a slot port tuned to 30 hz. How can i find out what the port displacement would be or can anybody tell me how many cu ft the enclosure would have to be to make sure after displacement it comes out to about 2.5 cu ft? any help is appreciated

you need figure out your port area then adjust the length to get your tuning. Then take the H x W x Length of the port and divide it by 1728 to get your displacement of the port. Be sure to add .75 to the wide for the thickness of the wood.
