hey guys i going to get a new box for my camaro. its a subthump brand box for 2 12's and it will have 1cf of sealed air space for each sub.

i can get a set of elemental designs 130v.2 4ohm dvc's for about 180 shiped and they seem to be really good subs.

i can also for more money get a set of eclipse 7200 series 12's.

the amp is a memphis belle 1300mcd and is rated at 600watts at 2ohm's and 1100 at 1 ohm. im going to get 2 4ohm dvc subs and wire them up for 1 ohm.

i also have access to most of the memphis line like the m3's and m1's.

i have heard the m3 12's in a sealed box and honestly dident like the way they sounded but maybe the box they where in was to small.i like sound quality and spl so i would like to have mix of both and im not looking to make the car fall apart lol.

who has or has had elemental designs subs?

thanks guys. oh and here is a vid of the excursion the seem to move good.

Hey buddy, that sounds like a good setup. I like the ED subs, but the company is a little shady. They are great sounding subs, and i really like mine. I have had a Soundsplinter RL-P, Diamond TDX, Infinity VQ, etc, and this sub holds its own.

Oh, and BTW, you won't get much help here when asking about ED. You will probably start a discussion about how bad they are.

go with the ED, the 1.0 cubic sealed is the recommended size. and i had 1 in a 1.25 cubic feet and it got loud and clear, amazing sq. with 2 its going to sound insane. and if you go with ED, you still get the 5 year warranty, whats not to like. 550rms per sub will be more than enough to wang away lol.

the truth is often funny
no just ignorance

Again, i said the company was shady. However, the product is very good. 5 year warranty, etc for what the price is is incredible.
very much the point of this thread

Assuming they honor it. The people buying their old 15" flat cones (A series iirc) thought they got a warranty too. They didn't.
now honestly, this is a serious question, how long ago was that? i know there warranty before was 1 year, then got bumped up to 5 year, if i am wrong someone correct me.
