This subwoofer is the Ultimate combination of brute power and sound quality. ELEMENTAL DESIGNS E15A.22: 30mm of excursion give it the same linear throw as a JL 12W7, but being a 15" sub gives it considerably more air displacement. It is 2 ohm dual voice coil, with a MONSTER magnet, weighs in at over 40 lbs, and 1000 Watt RMS thermal capabilities. This sub will take whatever your amp will throw. The cone is anodized titanium and the tinsel leads are woven into the spider. Look online for reviews, you will not be disappointed. Edit: the sub has only been used in home with a JL 500/1 and power inverter, never under or overpowered, works perfectly.

It is more highly regarded than the flat cone version.

I tested the voice coils' impedance: 1.9 on one and 2.0 on the other=perfect!

looks exactly the same as my 15AE but my cone has started to have an oxidized look for some reason. the cone isn't titanium either. it's aluminum.

Well OK i guess its aluminum, and no its not reconed. It functions like brand new- it's quite an impressive sub if you havent seen it in person. Yes i still have it- no one locally believes me that its as good or better than a 12w7, kinda funny i guess. What is blind-o BTW?
