Like I said above, Ive done it before. The flex a lite I installed was every bit as loud, if not louder. Call it pessimism if you want, I call it experience.

you are comparing a metal Blade fan to an electric fan.

Would you rather have a mechanical fuel pump or electric ?

Uhm, electric and mechanical fuel pumps put out grossly different pressures. Id use the one that fit the application. And what does a metal blade have to do with anything? The flex a lites have metal blades also. But your very generic statements are good too!

Well actually you would rather have an electric pump in most applications??

But again..I do not doubt the fans are loud..But I ahve heard electric fans and they are not as loud as regular..it's like a HUM comapred to a roar..they kill HORSEPOWER..

But I think I am going to meet you guys half way and just get a better bladed fan..MY truck runs very cool as it is

I just did exactly what we are discussing here, a couple months ago, replaced a loud clutch fan with a flex a lite. It was just as loud. Believe me if you want, call me a pessimist if you want, I dont really care. But, my direct experience is no match for Supa C's incredible intellect. lol
