would egg carton foam inside a speaker pod be a good choice for sound deatener in a car door? If not/so, would fiberfill be a better choice? I am going to inclose my speaker pod in my door and I want to deaten the door, I am wondering what is best to put in the pod its self. Thanks

OK I'm confused........................

I will be installing a set of Boston Acoustic Pro 60's in the doors of my 2006 F150 SuperCrew. The head unit will be a Pioneer DEH -P860MP that will drive the factory rear speakers. The comps will be driven by a US Amps XT 1600.2.

1) Is deadening the rear doors needed in this application as it is rear fill only?

2) Are speaker baffles and deflector pads/egg carton foam desirable in addition to deadening the front doors and or rear doors in this application?

3) How much deadener will be needed? Hell I don't even know how big the opening in the doors are to allow the mats to go through.

I only want to do this once, what would you do?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
