speaking of that fiberglass hows that working for you?
fvcking love it. will do it on EVERY install from now on. easy, cheap, and oh so effective. every midrange/midbass speaker cavity should have absorption. this is the best method i've seen.

we will open up the Scion tC (above) and add it.

great to here. i will do it to my doors before long. just curious if you had to pick a set of two way comps which ones would you get open to all options

Love the Hertz Mille, so neutral and revealing. Less added distortion than any other car speaker system I've heard, (excluding the Focal Utopia Be).

You would love the Milles.

Wish it was that easy to do my doors...I have a ton of holes that my door panel hooks into and then slides down...makes it very hard to put a lot of extra material between the panel and inner skin.
nice thick foam atached to the back side with just the bottom open for the slides worked good for me in my chevy

the issue with foam is two-fold. 1. it likes to harbor mold. 2. it isn't that absorptive.

if you door panels hook into the metal, your doors ****. plain and simple.

i would either use a different vehicle, or remove the hooks, seal the door, and screw the fvcker on. you can get screw caps that match the interior, it would look fine.

i researched vehicles before buying the Accord - specifically researching flexibility of system installation. This is the easiest car to work on (in the year range).

lol, that may be true, but I don't think that most peeps are going to base their buying decision based on whether or not the vehicle has holey doors.

This is what I'm working with...10 hooks for the front panels. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
How To Remove Door Panels On A 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Pickup Truck
My 08 has hooks on all 4 door panels. I tried to make up for this as well as possible by cutting out the sides and bottom of the MLV, leaving a "flap" to cover the back of the hooks after they were reinserted. Don't know how much difference this made, but the deadening, itself, made a world of difference.
