EE's: Whatever is needed to burn power inline with speaker

Hey, i'm finally breaking down and throwing a bit of rear fill in my car. I am not going to buy a new amp, so i'm just going to wire them in parallel with my comps. I do not want that much power going to the rear speakers though, I know you can get some sort of resistor to burn off some of hte power as heat, i'm just not sure what I need, thanks a lot.
