I'm just wondering, if you hate eD so bad, then why did you allow your friend to buy a driver from them? Wouldn't you have talk him out of it?

i talked 2 of my buddies into getting ed over other brands back in May (we got the subs w/in 1 week from each other). i bought 1 for a friend and the other guy got his from me referring the company.

i'll be happy to make another comment about eD......... they just sent my friend an email (AFTER HE CONTACTED THEM AGAIN........) what's this about 1.5 months later, anyways, to tell him that the shipping company lost 6 pallets of subs...

I got that e-mail too. and this is out of eds control. Are baseball hats were sent to a deferent state last year. nothing we did just idiot shippers. And Ed has been on the shippers case for awhile. and if I remember right i think it was only 4 paltes, but i might be mistaken.

Yes, and you by all means know exactly what is and what is not happening at eD.

Fact is, that eD did have a good deal of speakers turn up missing due to the negligence of a shipping company, which by the way, eD will no longer be using.

Aside from putting pressure on that shipping company to locate the speakers, what more can eD do?

Really, I would like to know.

Ben, Jeremy, and Eric have all adressed this issue, and have promised speakers or a refund.

Things don't happen at the snap of one's fingers. Time is required.

The shipping company still has to have the opportunity to rectify the situation before any other action (legal) can be taken.

Either way, that is between eD and that shipping company.

eD's hands are tied for the moment.

Deal with it.

one shouldn't have to continue sending eD e-mails to get updates, i mean shyt create a dam* email list / post on your website.. do something that will let users know about what's going on that's uptodate.

i know time is required but a whole month??? having to contact the provider for service updates? wtf kinda crap is that!

What can eD do when the issue is out of their hands at this point?

They have discontinued business with the problem vendor, and a problem shipping company, have a boat load of new products on the way, and are easily accessible via phone, email, mail, Instant Messenger, and are delighted if you even drop by the shop in person.

What the h*ll more do you want?

Crappy Products?

I'll wager you that can insert your foot back into your mouth. Plenty of extremely satisfied customers to offset your ludicrous comments.

I'm also not stating that eD is by any means perfect. When something is out of a companies control there is not much they can do about it. As a small company, sure, some things could assist them and the customers a little better, however, that also takes time.

My other e120.44 has been backordered since early January.

Don't hear me whining about it.

As easy as eD is to get ahold of, even in real time mind you, quit b*tching and pick up the phone.

If you choose not to do business with them, that is fine. Based on your actions on a public forum, I'm sure you and eD would be fine without each other and vice-versa.
