I was wondering when you apply this or any other dampning , when applying the first layer, for exmaple in the trunk, do you place the different cut out pieces butt to butt, or is it a good idea to overlap?? i will be putting 2 layers i assume i can just butt to butt the stuff together but im not sure??

butt ot butt is fine...u are just trying to make whatever u are putting it on more ridged so overlapping is ok but not needed
