Edead v1 = :( BOOOOO................

I have eDead v1 falling all over the place on my lexus, in the trunk deck when i pulled of my rear deck the edead was literally falling off, or completely unattached to the bare metal.

I DID install this with my hands, a roller, and a screwdriver.... I guess after 5 months or so the product is supposed to be changed???

WHAT a dissapointment! Not only this but I posted up my troubles on icix.com under general car audio, and still got the thread deleted by an eD tech....

I WANT an explanation of why such an inferior product made it to production!

Should have serched before buying that stuff, there are plenty of people pissed off about there edead falling off.

sorry to hear that man, i havent heard anything bad bout there new stuff. But im guessing your so pissed about it screwing up this time that you try there deadening again.

Try raamat and second skin next time. never seen anything bad about either

I guess I am going to try but its even in my interior door panels, 1/2 of the sheets are bending down unattached and the rest have fallen off. I know how to install deadner I just cant believe this is such a pos product.

Check out this site. It explains alot and dispells many myths about deadener. And theres alot more info that the companies don't want consumers to know about the effectiveness of their products at certain temperatures.

same thing happened to me, and I bought Cascade V-Block, best stuff I've used so far.

get some liquid deadener and paint over it. i did this in a friends car and it really helps a lot to keep the stuff attached.

my guess is you didnt use what you are supposed to to clean all surfaces before you apply it.
