Alright, gametime now finally. I got the cheese to order everything to finish my system.

Now I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

IMO here are the pros and cons to each

15a.22

pros

can be used in a small box

price

solid construction

cons

on paper less power handling than xxx

15xxx

pro

power handling

sound quality sub with lots of spl

solid contruction

cons

requires huge box

price

I need your help guys. I have never heard either sub in person before. I like both subs and can't seem to make a decision. If I can save a few dollars it would be great but I don't want to sacrfice performance. I will be running about 1200-1300w rms at 1 ohm to the subs. I have a caddilac deville with a huge trunk but I would like to save some space if possible. I need your opinions as so as possible so that I can place the order and have everything here at my house by the end of next week.

My cone didn't even come close to blowing off with 1500WRMS. Sure, the former seperated, but that was a production problem which has been corrected. Please stop talking out of your ***, it really does make you look quite foolish.

If the A doesnt blow to pieces then it will have better sq, a little not much becuase as you know sq is user dependant. The XXX will blow the A out of the water in SPL if you ask me. Why not a D2?

Right now I have my mine set on 15's. If I go with the D2's I order 2 of them, with doing that I don't think I will have enough power to push them hard. On top of that it will cost more to go that route.

Realizing that there was at one point in time a problem with the A's fabrication, even IF it blew, eD has what, a 3 year warranty?

People seem obsessed with the false notion of the A's unreliability.

my k series has the same problem as the A's, but it is an older newer version of the k with the black basket. my k's sounded excellent and were loud and sounded very good. i could only imagine an A series sub. but my xxx is wonderful. it sounds very good. it is not as punchy (install problem soon to be fixed) but it hits jawdropping lows.
