Josh, you can say what you want, but you've still not managed to say anything that amounts to a hill of beans. Ive seen nothing so far that actually says anything. Ive got receipts to show my purchases and that i didnt get screwed, ive got RA numbers for products i badly abused (17.9v on amps designed for 12v) that were repaired free and shipped free. I can show these.. Go ahead and continue on, you've got your own little crowd of people who worship you, and thats good. It just sounds to me like you may have a little bit of jealousy that someone left your pretty little forum and has been successful on his own.

And ive been behind the scenes form other angles before you were around, but theres no point in whiping them out if we dont have a tape measure handy...though it seems youve got your tape and nothing to measure....

If you dont mind my asking, im curious where you have the soldering done at.. this was actually my main curiousity as it doesnt seem many places have the facilities to do this in the US.. at least not cheaply. There are forthcoming in-house designs from ED though perhaps not from the direction anyone would expect.

There are literally thousands of contract assembly houses in the US. We interviewed 5 of them (tours, talked with staff, walked through facilities) within a 30 minute drive of Adire before we settled on our chosen one. Got quotes from an even dozen, all located in the Seattle area. They should not be hard to find; if they are, then the company's staff doesn't know what they're looking for or what they're doing.
There is a TON of assembly capability in the US; and the beauty is that most of it is optimized for smaller runs of product, under 100 units or so (a couple of the places we looked at - and who were competitively priced, too - quoted as few as 10 quantity assembly).

Those who think you have to go off-shore either need to because of volume (the DEIs and Harmans of the world), or haven't a clue.

If Ben would like some help setting up his assembly system, he knows where to contact me. We do this kind of stuff all the time (in fact, taking 3 other electronics products to production this month, all for other clients).

Sorry to wreck your little happy train - but our moderation staff nearly jumped for joy when the little ****er left... Our intelligent thread content doubled, stress levels dropped by half, and we got rid of the bulk of the morons around... Which is what your users consist of... Morons and rookies. For me to be angry about that, I'd have to have lost something in the process, and I didn't yet... Would you like me to show you traffic logs to show the non-existant drop in users? I mean, for me to be pissed about that, I'd have to have lost something... And what I lost... Well, you tell me what that is since you obviously have the inside track.

Anyone that has had enough time to research things doesn't have much positive to say about your company in the long term... I wonder why that is.

Interesting!.. in this case it truly is a matter of pure ignorance regarding the matter... MINE... i am curious about this for a few products I hope to be releasing sometime in the future. I was under the impression that you had to have fairly large runs in order to get anything done at all.. Where do you look to find these sorts of places anyways? Ive got a few fairly simple electronics id like to put out, but i dont have the capital to get things going on a huge scale...

Josh hasnt shown me any respect or friendship as you have so I honestly dont feel the need to show him any unfortunately. BTW... i may have a reality spl contender for you... 3 L7 10s.. doesnt do that great on a legal meter for peak spl due to fairly low port area and port locations(barely cracked a 148 legal on a harsh meter), but it does some crazy things throughout the vehicle and id say it is about the loudest streetable setup ive yet to run... need to check out reality mic placement and see what it pulls off..
