ed url for package deals

edesignaudio.com, they should be right on the front, but i just checked and they weren't, maybe they ended the packages:confused: . as for the amp a avionixx 500m would do you well for one 12 k. the only thing is that avionixx amps lack a subsonic filter, so if you are going to port with an avionixx amp, stay at or below 35 hz, thats just my recomendation. im sure other people on here have diff. views.

but hey, good news is that eD joined up with avionixx and all the amps are like half the price now;) . getting my package was more expensive then it would have been without it now. maybe i should've waited. screw waiting though.

The tsunami's were supposed to be good for SPL applications, weren't they? Reading that Avionixx made OEM amps for Tsunami, I'd expect no less from Avionixx. As is with ED subwoofers, I've yet to hear anything negative about Avionixx amplifiers except for the missing subsonic filter.

I'd go for an Avionixx anyday than a JBL monoblock (were supposed to be problematic, according to owners).

The package deals were taken off (maybe need to put them back on?)

If you go through and add the individual products to your basket the price will be roughly the same price as the old package deals were, just are 2 products need to be added instead of 1.

Avionixx 800.2 or the Tsunami db1100 to work very well with the 12a. The dei and the 1100 will do roughly the same power, and have virtually the same features.

and why is the subsonic filter so important?

You could get yourself an FMOD by harrison labs that's like $20 or so...

I really think you shouldn't let your judgement over amps just be over subsonic filters.

Ask current/previous users of Avionixx or Tsunami amps and only then make a decision. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Tsunami amps currently come with 6month warranty. Avionixx amps come with 2 year warranty. The avionixx amps are absolutely great amps. They put out extremely clean power and are built solid. Like the above post said throw a 20 dollar set of F-mods on the amp and you are all set for a subsonic filter. For the price that these amps are now I don;t think they can be beat.
