Originally when I preordered the RMS on the SP15 was 1200, but now it is listed as 1000 watts. I am running one, parallel on a JBL 1200.1. I dont have the gain all the way up and my Pioneer 8300mp puts out 4V on the subwoofer rca. I blew a couple MTX 8000's and I"m very weary about blowing the SP15. The whole point of my purchasing it was the assurance it would handle all 1200 watts. Anyone have any experience with this sub? I know its new but Do you think I should rest assured that my 1200.1 wont blow it?? I would like to push it.
