Wow. This thread shot way up. I thought it was going to end right after the laughs about the sale . Not that it matters, but I have decided NOT to buy the SQ subs. Actually I spent the 250 dollars on a new watch (that somehow cost me 700 LOL Elini FTW) so I'm out of the market.

Also, there are a few names on here that I respect and the negative feelings they have represented on this thread about eD makes me kinda rethink my next purchase. I have had no problems with my current setup for my low end (all eD eq) but maybe my next purchase will be a new line.

I will say the great thing about this forum compared to other forums is that you have the rights to express your feelings about things (either good or bad) and you may get a little razzled on, but people do listen and help. You don't have to worrya bout an admin banning you or being totally destroyed by the members for disagreeing. You don't see anywhere here saying don't buy this or that do you? We're not saying don't buy anything anywhere or saying anyone is bad.

We're still ahead of the game in terms of performance. We will beat their pricing too.We'll offer a better product, at a better price, with better service.

We will beat that price and any other price they put on it. And we'll do it with a better product.

We will also offer a better product. A better price. Better service options. More wiring options and a longer warranty to boot.

Our ability to do this might be why we are able to offer a lower price and a warranty 3 times as long.

Better price. Better warranty. Better product. Pretty cut and dry.

In the process we're really pushing the envolope on price, performance, and warranty. It seems in that respect we are doing quite well and we are very excited to have the competition and recieve so much attention for one of our new products!

Yeah, I was considering getting one just to play around with since $55 shipped for a ten isn't bad, but this whole eD > Tang Band attitude is simply not acceptable by my standards.

Not long after they got off of the ground, they started a pre-run of Nine.1's... People waited, and they never came, waited, never came, waited, and they never came. Then some people got theirs and others....didnt. Ben's excuse was they got lost on a boat in korea when they where being shipped to the US.

That story is 2nd hand...so I dont know all of the details. But from there on out it was just down hill.

theres plenty of those stories, theres plenty of problems with customs as well...i don't know how people work in a environment like this...how can you see yourself as a ongoing entity if you continue to lie to people?

Has anyone considered the fact that both eD and TB could be purchasing stamped baskets, cones, and surrounds from the same company? I understand Ben is claiming that the idea for this driver came from a lunch meeting he had but it is possible that both companies simply buy premade parts from whereever.

Example: My HO alt from DB Electrical came in the exact same casing as my stock alt. Not because they copied the design but because they purchase casings from whatever company makes them for Pontiac. Just because the two are using what appears to be the same product in many ways doesn't mean that one stole it from someone else and both have every right to patent something that is theres. It's like Dr. Pepper, Dr. Topper, and Mr. Pibb. Same thing, all patented, different label. But some are cheaper than others, some are considered better than others.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Ben is claiming he has everything custom-tooled and built exclusively for him, for this speaker.

Wouldn't shock me if he was lying about that...
