Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

I actually have two vfl 150.1 amps. one is not in great cosmetic shape, and one of the speaker set screw holes is stripped along with the remote wire terminal. i'd knock a few bucks off if anyone is interested in it.

I am willing to trade for a select few things. What i want most is one or two aura rpm stage II 2300. definitely interested in other aura gear, though. second thing would be a pair of dls ur2.5 or up2.5 mids. i'm also looking for a surround receiver for my house, some sound deadener or a ps3.

Can I get some pics of the ends of the AB amp? I'd like to see what control/settings it has.

What do they do at 4/2/1 ohm? The website isn't very helpful.

I also have a Marantz SR4400 HT receiver that has been sitting since I bought a new one.

i listed what i'm looking for as far as trades. if you have something that fit's the bill, we can negotiate

specs are a mystery to me as well. i've even tried emailing ab to ask what voltage their rating is at, but never get any response. here are the ratings for the old gold style:

UsaCi ratings at 14.4V:

522.6 watts at 4 ohms

1562.8 watts at 1 ohm

i have to imagine that the new amp ratings are at 16 volt, maybe at 1/2 ohm. i've been told that these amps are 1/2 ohm stable when fan cooled, and are able to go to 1/3 ohm for burps.

i may be interested in the marantz receiver. pics and specs?

i just tested a vfl 120.1 for bob @ AMERICAN BASS ( IVE KNOW BOB FOR OVER 17YRS) THE 120.1 DID 1440 RMS AT 1 OHM @ 36HZ,13V SO THE 150.1 SHOULD DO ABOUT 1800 RMS, I WOULD NOT RUN THESE AMPS UNDER 1 OHM.

the guy i bought the pretty one from ( i don't want to mention names as it wasn't a great transaction) apparently knows bob personally as well.

he told me that bob said 1/2 ohm daily is fine with fan cooling. i dunno. i even looked back at the old for sale thread and it says the same thing i did about 1/2 and 1/3 ohm load
