eD 16Ov vs. Kicker L7 15"

Alright I was just about ready to order an L7 when I thought about The elemental designs subs. Now anyone know how the 2 will compare, SPL-wise? I assume the eD kicks the shit out of the L7 when it comes to SQ, but how much louder does a 15" L7 get than the 16Ov? Any and all input would be great, thanks.

id say the L7 will get louder hands down, but not exactly sure how much louder and i too am curious to the answer to this question./

I have an explorer so I have enough space to put either in their recommended enclosure. I am probably going to tune in the 32hz range I guess. Doesn't matter, I will do everything to optimize either sub. I currently have a CVR so I want it louder than that, but if there is a such a thing as alot louder AND good SQ I will go for it.

I can only comment on the 16Ov as I havent heard an L7 setup. It gets really loud and sounds great in the process.

The L7 will be louder than the eD Ov, hands down. of course the Ov will sound much better.

Anyways for an explorer u could probably get the l7 and that shit would bang. Unless you want some SQ but SUV's are great for SPL
