Eclpise 12 Titanium ..... Which amp should i use for it?

Alright i guess in all previous forums and debates it was agreed that for daily use Eclipse is the way to go NOT L7.

But question is 12 Eclipse Titanium (SW9122) is 4 Ohm DVC , could it be connected to Kicker ZX750.1 Mono Amp?

I'm asking this coz Eclipse is 750 RMS sub and Kicker ZX750.1 gives 750 RMS only when wired at 2ohms.

So will i get at least 750 from Eclipse SW9122 (4Ohm Sub) when wired to Kicker ZX750.1 or i should get another amp?

I'm a rookie but i heard em say Both Kicker ZX750.1 and Eclipse Ti are underrated.

Also it says on the specs of Eclipse: And i don know what those mean. Pretty sure Vas has to do smthing with enclosure but does it mean sealed or ported?

Qts: 0.30 ????

DCR: 4/coil ????

Vas: 3.20 cuft ????

The Kicker actually puts out about 900 rms.

It will be fine.

yeah a friend of mine got kicker 750 and it came with cetificate saying it was 862.

But i was curious coz wired at 4omhs Kicker amp produces only 375-400w rms and since Eclipse SW9122 is DVC 4 ohm sub, does it mean ill have to connect Kicker @ 4ohms only or i can still connect it at 2 ohms?

If the Eclipse is a DVC 4-Ohm, you would wire the coils in parallel, which would present a 2-ohm load to the amp.

Coz i know some, exactly the same eclipse subs come in aluminium or titanium.

and i know ti is better, right?

As far as i know SW9122 are all titanium. Am i right?

dude kicker 1500 will blow the sub. sooner or later.

I don wanna have my way with the sub but i do wanna have trunk shakin bass.

i was thinking if sw9122 is 750 rms but underrate and kicker 750 mono ampo is underrated too (usually not less than 850 RMS @ 2homs). I thought those 2 would be a good match

My 15" TI's absolutely laugh at 750 wrms.....I wouldn't hesitate to send them 1.2+kw rms each (in the right box with clean power).

doesn't matter, gain in cone area doesn't necessarily mean gain in power handling. I had my 3hp sub on 1200 watts and it was asking for more

I'm running a GP3000D-Pro on my Ti 15", and its a dual 2 wired to 1ohm. Musically, I'd look for something that around the 1500 rms range. It should be plenty.
