eclipse xa4000 4

i currently have a first gen Sundown 100.4 and im looking to change it up for maby a litte more power and basically a newer amp. i am looking at the eclipse xa4000.4 but i have heard bad things about class D full range amps. I have an eclipse 7200mkII, Infinity kappa 5x7s in my doors, and Focal polyglass tweets on the a pillar. right now running active.

basically lookin for opinions on this amp and suggestions, im an SPL guy that wants to sound good and need advice.

I had the 5 channel version of that amp the xa50000. Full range class D and it sounded great. Many so called "SQ" amps are switching over to full range class D

Eclipse makes the best sounding full range class d that I have heard. I think the only major ones I haven't heard are the new Zed amps, but the Eclipse kill the PDX amps, no question.

ok im lookinat money per watt and i found a Kicker Kx 850.4 for under $300 refurbished with warranty.... since space really isnt as issue with me i just want good clean power would anyone recomend i go with a class ab like the kicker amp mentioned or the eclipsse XA4000
