for me there is no question. the 8454. it has tuning capabilities galore. although the 7998 is an awesome unit as well.

thanks man I have the eclipse right now I was just wording if I should trade it for the alpine I heard good things about I'm just looking for a person that has used both and could give me their advice on the situation.
