BEHRINGER FBQ6200 in my car?

i am looking to get a eq for my car and i am seriously considering this one.

dual 31 band eq's with all the little features i could want for $180

a couple questions.

1)would running it off an inverter have any negative effects? (i wouldnt think so but i have been wrong before)

2)what would it take to convert rca's to xlr plugs?

3)are there any other eq's i should look at in the sub 200 price range?
