i've already started shopping for a bigger amp so i can upgrade to 2 eventually.

Well, you said they sound "a lot better" than the 12w7.. that's pretty **** good. I wonder how two of these will compare to the two 15" avalanches I'm going to have soon.

re-read that post. i posted 2 replies from someone who works at tc sounds. i've never heard a 12w7 nor do i have my 8200 yet.

Yeah, I re-read that after I made that last post, but I didn't feel like editing it. I guess it's still up in the air.

I'm stilll very interested though. I've never owned eclipse subs (I have two old 8712's on the way), but I've had friends that ran aluminums and I loved how they sounded. And those eBay prices look pretty good.

Talked to my local dealer about these and he didn't seem too excited about them.

I'd like to try one out though. Joe, where did you find yours if you don't mind me asking??

i'm not gonna be home to sign for it but i should be able to go pick it up at fedex, its only like 15 minutes from my house. i'm waiting on deadener so it will be another week or so before i have it in my truck but i may be able to throw it in a friends car for a temp review.

it could be a while unless i test it out in someone else's car first. Deadening comes in wednesday and i'll start tearing down this weekend.
