Basically im having the problem of figuring out what my tuning frequency should be, that and port length / diameter.
Also I'm not quite sure what my displacement of the subs are, therefor I don't quite know how big to build the box either. I have to know box dimensions before I figure my port length and width to apply toward my tuning frequency correct?
Any information would be greatly appreciated, and the limited specs from eclipse's website are as follows. (I will be running two of these, if this information helps with any information one of you box geniuses may be able to provide)
RMS 500
PEAK 1500
Fs 20.5 Hz
QTS .44
VAS 2.5cu ft
XMAX 12mm
Sensitivity 90dB
Maybe I'm just not understanding some terminology, or maybe it is something else. Anyhow, I appreciate any information you guys can provide, and thanks for taking the time to read this.
Thanks again,
Luke
PS - I noticed on Infinity's website, in their user manual PDF they have all sorts of information listed for their subs, and i can't understand why Eclipse doesn't provide this. I have sent Eclipse an e-mail and still have not received a reply which is why i came to pick your all's brains.
