Eclipse Subs

Yep, that's me.
Well, I'm no authority on SPL so if that's what you're after you might be better off asking someone else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif What I do know is that if you're referring to running four of the SW8200 12s then you'd better have tons of airspace available because if memory serves, they need a very large sealed enclosures. Something on the order of 3cu.ft. or more. They're also very demanding on the amplifier and will kill ones not up to the task if you're not careful.
Not really looking for an SPL setup so to speak, but if that's how things end up I won't be too disappointed. I'm still in the planning phase at this point, so I'm open to just about anything.

Air space shouldn't be a big concern, because I have 2 different vehicles in which to do my build.

1. 2007 Dodge Dakota Quad-Cab 4x4

2. 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT8

If the Dakota doesn't have sufficient space, the Magnum surely will. And unless I'm completely off base, I'd say the RF T2500-1BD is a pretty solid amp. It should be capable of handling the Eclipse subs, right?

yep they will there was problems with those and the coil leaving the gap or something like that and the impedance would drop and most of the people using these models mainly used a/b amps bridged. meaning the imp would drop below 4ohm load and kill the amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Good find. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif

Didn't care too much for what I read in that link. I'm not really interested in destroying a brand new $1,000+ amplifier.

I'll definitely have to demo these subs before I buy some...
