Eclipse HU and Ipod adaptor help...

Hey So I have an Eclipse cd3000 HU and I just got the IPC-106 (ipod adapter). anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or help on how to install this? Really the only thing I am not sure about is how I am supposed to connect it to the battery. the manual on this thing is horrible! and I know pretty much nothing about cars/ stereo hook ups (I had my deck installed by a store and I really don't feel like paying 50 bucks for them to install something that will probably take all of about 10 min to do.)
