Eclipse CD-5000 arrived today. Pics inside

Don't know if anyone has put up pictures of one yet but I got mine today and figured I would. This is the first HU I ever ordered from Crutchfield and it was a real treat. I got it next day with everything to install it and free shipping. Might also point out that the help making a decision talking to the people at Eclipse was great. In my little test of Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood and Eclipse.... the Eclipse people are top dogs. This unit is different in-hand than the pics on-line make it out. I absolutely love the looks of it. Looks like a well constructed unit almost too nice to ride in my dash. If you have an e-mail I have those pics in bigger sizes. I will take some more tomorrow and with it lit up at night using the different colors.

Ding Ding! That is the whole reason I bought it. Your car have all orange illumination? My Civic does so after talking to Eclipse on the phone all the keys and areas around the knobs will go amber or red. The only part that will be different colors is the display text. I can live with that! I will have more pics including lit up tomorrow night. I will just slam them on my site so we can have larger pics to look at.

Anyone reading this that may have the older style Eclipse units...

I am working on the wiring bundle as I type and have extra wires. These are the ones I have with no home:

Eclipse wiring bundle

- Blue (has metal connector on it) Antenna?

- Blue/White (has metal connector on it) Antenna?

- Brown Extra speaker set?

- Brown/Black Extra speaker set?

Honda adapter bundle

- Blue Antenna?

- Orange/White Says dimmer on the sheet. Have the same color wire coming out of the Eclipse bundle. Do I use it?

- Orange Says illumination on the sheet. Don't have a pair for it on the Eclipse bundle.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

- Brown Extra speaker set?.......steering controls

- Brown/Black Extra speaker set?.......steering controls

The HU should also have an orange for illumination, connect this to the ill on the harness for your car.

Blue matches with blue on both harness.
