Eclipse Audio Made by TC sounds?

I was looking at tc sounds website and the tc-9 that they sell looks exactly like a pair of old school Eclipse 8112 subwoofers that i have.

I am looking to possibly upgrade them, Even on eclipses website it says that they are made with a Quick change Technology or something of that sorts. Does anyone know what the ones i have can be reconed with, or whether or not tc sounds is actually the original manufacturer.

Forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject.... the goal would be to recone them, possilby enabling them to handle slightly more power.

suggestions on some subs to handle around 1k each in a 3 cubic ft box tune to 35 would also be great.

im pretty sure tc makes eclipse i have a tc 1000 and an eclipse sw6200 and they sound identical, in my opinion

The current SW8200 is very close to the LMS-4000. AKA yes, tc sounds builds Eclipse

so what can i recone them with.........anyone? I just noticed on the sub that it can be taken apart etc. to recone it......

I would imagine TC could recone them... Maybe they have something against doing that....
