Eclipse alums vs. w3?

I was just wondering how the eclipse alums, the sw7124's, compared to the w3's. in sq ans in spl.

alums would get louder but the w3's would have better sq...just go with which u want

I think both subs are solid, you can't go wrong with either. I think it depends on how much you want to spend on them and how much power you have, the SW7124 does retail slightly higher because it does sport the cast basket and aluminum cone. The alum also handles more power and has more output potential.

my old 88's Alums are very trusty and take way more power than they are supposed to, sound great doing it

I would personally choose the Alums for both SQ and output.
