eclipse 8455 active setup. how do i control the subwoofer?

I'm all ready to start an active setup, but when i read through the manual it says nothing about how to hook up the subwoofer. I'm running a three way setup in the front, and in order to do that i need to use all three sets of outputs for the three different speakers. Doing this leaves no option for the subwoofer. And if i just parallel the connections from the low output rca's(which will be running the 6.5" in the doors) to the subwoofer amp, i'll only get the signal which feeds my 6.5's. Obviously not low enough for the sub. Is there something I'm missing? Thanx boys.

split off your front or rear outputs, and leave the sub output for the subwoofer?

okay here's how it works: there are three sets of outputs right, a front, rear, and non-fader sub. when you enable the active crossover section and use a 3-way setup for the front stage(no rear fill) you use all three sets of outputs. the front outs run your tweets, the rear outputs run your mids, and the non-fader outs run your mid-bass. that leaves no outputs for the sub. I can't split off of any of the aforementioned sets because they'll be crossed over at frequencies too high for the sub. I also can't split any of the outputs because there are three different speaker sizes and types, all of which require different crossover points.

you can't fully control a 4 way active with the 8455 alone. it can only control a 2 way up front + sub. you going to have to split the signal between one the outputs and use a combo of the amps crossovers as well.

Ran into same problem. So switched to a DRZ9255 but its not the logical choice. The 8455 is a nice HU and I liked it just not enough options/variations.

Just follow what alphakenny1 told you and you will be fine.
