eclipse 8443 help

I just installed my new eclipse h/u today and the sound is great, the only thing is i cannot figure out how to adjust the subwoofer ... is there anyone here who can help me figure out how to adjust it???

never mind guys i found it ... you can only adjust it in normal mode, but this thing is really amazing in pro mode, i turned the bass all the way down and the treble all the way up and adjusted my crossover and my 12's are still slammin,

If it is like the 8455 or 8454 then pro mode can adjust the sub. You go to time alignment and increase or decrease the decible rating for the sub channel.

are you sure you can't adjust the non-fader in normal mode? i never used the deck in normal mode but it thought you could

yup i wish my 8455 just had a straight up menu to change the settings on each speaker but yea you gotta go to the TA menu and change the decibals there.

yea u can do it in normal mode, but u cant do it in pro mode, i dont like normal mode

pro mode just lets you fine tune your sound on the unit, also i just connected the ipod to it today with a mini jack to mini jack cable, the clarity is amazing ... I LOVE MY ECLIPSE ... i will never buy another brand of h/u

I just brought an Ipod video, what kinda of cable did you use to connect it to the deck? Can I buy the Monster Cable ipod cable for this?

i just used a mini jack to mini jack cable ... $4.87 at wal mart

no monster cable for me. lol too expensive

At least invest in the cable that connects to your data port. The mini jack sounds horrible on the ipod.
