Eclipse 12Ti Vs. Eclipse 15Alum...

Hi there, I already had a 15alum and loved it, it had awsome SQ and SPL...but I had to sell it, if I get a 12Ti which has 250RMS more, will it perform better in SQ and SPL given that extra watts?

I know I'm comparing a 12 to a 15, but the 12 has much more RMS rating, and seems better built and capable of a better and louder performance...

THX in advance...

Umm.. i bet they will be about equal..

I mean that they Ti is a better sub than the Alum. Depends on what size/type of box that you had the 15 in, and then again what size box you are going to be putting the 12 in. I bet with the proper power, and the right size box the 12 will sound just as loud at higher volumes, just not as deep.

The subs are supposed to be Great in small sealed enclosures..

I had the 15 Alum in a 1.25cubic feet... I plan on putting the 12 in a 1cubic foot, but give it way much more power...

Which one will have better SQ and be louder or SPL...?

THX again..

The 12 Titanium will sound better if you install it right. It will not be louder/as loud unless you port it in which case you will lose some SQ.

i honestly can't see why anybody would pay more than what you're going to pay for an aluminum.....for a titanium......i was a much bigger fan of my 12 inch alum, than the 15 ti......ti's just not worth it IMO.....12 outperformed it in about every way possible.....

Pytisister... did you give the 12Alum the same wattage than the 15Ti?

What do you think made that diference in performance from both subs, the size or the Alum-Ti or the power handling?

THX

they got about roughly the same wattage......that didn't seem to be the problem.....the ti's just seemed to ****.....i mean two 15's with like 1800 watts on them should be pretty loud.....these weren't.....
