ebay mmats amp for 550.00 NEW

I was going off their description which said "1550 Wrms @ 1/2 ohm" so if it puts out 1550 @ 1/2 ohm then @ 1 Ohm it would probably be around 1100 or so. But a 2100.1 would be a better choice is your subs are wired to a 1 ohm load.

yea but i want to rock out at under a 1 ohm load, so the 2100.1 compared to the 2100.05 wouldnt be what im using it for..Both seem like the better choice though.

Im totally undeceided on what to purchase at all now !!

I was set on mmats for my new amp.

Now I wonder if I should look to purchase another make other than mmats !!

If you are gonna have a 1 ohm load then buy the 2100.1 if you are gonna have a .5 ohm load get the 2100.05. Aren't the L7s 750 watts each though? You would be overpowering them by 250 watts.I don't know if they are underrated though.

Either way you can't go wrong with a mmats amp.

Ok 2100.1 is the one ohm stable amp.

The 2100.1/2 is the half ohm stable amp

I have (2) 12 L's, dual vc 2 ohm subs ported box.

When I wire them staight to the amp as is, they will be at 1 ohm with system turned off, same as wiring them to each other i guess.

When I play them they will not be at 1 ohm any longer.

How far below 1 ohm will they go to in a ported box as a guesstimation to anyone?

What Do I get the 2100.1 or the 2100.1/2 with my speakers setup ?

It doesnt matter if the system is on or not. If they are Dual 2 then they will either be a .5, or a 2 ohm load if you wire the pair together. The only time you will see a 1 ohm load is if each speaker is seperate, and parallel. Then you will see 2 1 ohm loads. If they are dual 2 you should look for an amp that is .5 ohm stable, so you can wire both subs in parallel. And yes 2100 watts would be over powering them, but if the signal is a clean one they should be able to handle them with properly set gains.
