You gotta love the "...considering the age... " caveat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

Yeah.... seems VERY shady. If the item is fixable (within reason), I would just lick my wounds and go on (assuming the amp works). A coat of fresh paint does wonders!

Have you contacted the seller yet?

Definitely leave some HARSH feedback!

If you dispute it, PayPal will ask you to ship the amp back at your expense. In doing so you're taking the chance that the seller will refund your money or leave it in their account for PayPal to refund your money. The seller can easily say "screw you" and not refund anything. Then you're out of your money and the amp. I went through a very similiar situation with a set of subs and it was a big waste of time. Learn from this and be more careful what and who you buy from next time.

contact the seller, he has 100% feedback right now, i doubt very seriously he will want to screw that up, especially with the low feedback count, one neg. will screw him over fairly well IMHO..,,.

It looks like the missing plug is $17shipped on Ebay and you should be able to get those set screws for $1 locally. I'd email the seller and ask for $20 to cover those costs & go from there.

i don't plan on disputing it. i have threatened neg. feedback though. al i really want is the cost of the plug an the set screw. if i get a partial refund he'll get neutral with hrash feedback. if nothing at all well neg. will be left.

as soon as i get a set screw i'll hook it up to see if it works. there aren't any burnt fets or anything, the board looks nice and clean so that is a plus.

woohoo works great. protect happy at one ohm though. i'l keep everyone updated though. and thanks to patrick at robot underground for the plug hookup and bench test. thanks!!
