Easy way to cut wood?

this is how I cut two full 4 foot X 8foot, 16mm thick sheets at once...

Does this work pretty well? how straight are the cuts?

Depends on your skill with a circular saw.

I've gotten so used to using one I did my wicked one nearly entirely free-handed with one.I cut the top/bottom with a straight edge and the saw, then I cut strips 12.5" x 48" I cut up into individual pieces free-handed with the circular saw.

Just use a straight edge, measure several times, and cut.It makes it much easier to handle.When I do cut-sheets I usually allow for it to be cut in half.

How often do you use your table saw? If you use it fairly often, it may not be a bad idea to build a larger wood table around the saw. Extened it out to the side opposite your fence. And extend it farther out the back. Ill try to get you a pic of mine. This allows be to cut a full sheet easily with no need for help. IT something fairly cheap to build also. Mine is just 2 sheets of particle board and some 2x4's.

Yeah I just cut the sheet if half first with a circular saw and straight edge.

i use the same technic as Death By Bass and it works almost perfect if not perfect. just make sure you align the fence just right, so take your time aligning it till you get used to it.

The table saw gets used everyday.I already have one tried to get pics its really nice long enough to fit a 4x8 piece...But i couldnt forgot to charge the battery..

That's how my uncle's do it, and they always get my cuts straights.

Is the guide supposed to be on the right side of the cut or the left side?

I've been putting it on the left of my cut.

I would say it doesnt matter as long as the cuts are straight?

wow i had home depot cut some wood for my box, and i gave him all the dimensions, and the idiot took it all for memory and stuck the paper in his pocket, and added 12" to each of the widths, and idiot me i tried gettin em in my car and they were too long, and i ignored it and kept going. came home and they measured 12" longer FTL. hadda make my own cuts which sucked + i hadda pay him for those cuts...

yeah, doens't matter... you may not always be able to do it the way I did, as the motor on the saw may be in the way...
