earthquake shredder problems

I have an earthquake shredder amp hooked up to 2 Audiobahn 12" Titanium subs. I am very dissapointed in the max amount of base being put out. I hooked up the amp to a 12" Brahma and it sounded totally awful!!! This leads me to believe that the reason my subs aren't slamming hard is because of my amp. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with these subs or amp? This system is in a 2000 mustang and the box is to the specs. I would be in debt if any one could help me out. Are your gains set right? Recheck your ground wire and all connections, but try turning your gains all the way down, putting some music on, and turn it up bit by bit until it distorts, and then turn it down a little

what model subs are they, what coils?? you must set the gains right or it will sound like ass, it can also be your box, I am a D2 expert!! trust me, I know D2's

they are the the awt 12's duel 1 ohm and i dont remember if they are wired to 4 ohm and the box was made as exactly to specs no air leaks or any of that i dont know what to do
