Earthquake, Rockwood

Ok my one friend had sitting in his closet 2 12 inch rockwood subs. He also had two 12 inch earthquakes.

They both have almost identical ratings. 1000 peak, 500 rms, dual 4 ohm, 160 oz magnets

He also read somewhere that they are made by the same company

Is that tru???

Rockwoods are horrible. I had two 12's and blew them with 750 wtts rms. 375 for each sub and they blew. The amp never clipped. I was always curious as to who the makers of this crap was? Let me know when you find out so I can put them on my stay away list.

Earthquake subs are good. U should put up high 140's, low 150's with a good pair
