If its a serious issue for you just get an external regulator. The car is regulating your voltage that way. Click to expand... really so the amps clipping and the a/c surging as the voltage goes up and down is normal? i think not .... and if its caused from factory regulation of voltage why did my factory alt stay at 14.6
