why on earth are you pulling power or ground through the trunk opening

quit a bit of room left. Are you planning to fill in the side gaps by the sub?

I think I'm going to leave them open. I know it would look better with it all nice and flush but there needs to be air space for the sound to come back into the cabin.

Huh? I meant getting the box through the trunk opening, not power/ground wire. Running the wire was the easy part.
