Dynaudio question

I am looking at getting the 3-way 340 comps. I have heard alot of good things about the 240 MKII comps also. I have not listened to any of these yet. I am just going by what I read in forums. I currently have Diamond D6 6.5 comps. w/ 150X2 Diamond D6 amp. Will the Dynaudio sound better than the Diamonds?

Where are you at in TN? There is a guy in Chattanooga with the 5.25" Dynaudio set. The midbass was very nice for some 5.25s...I was amazed.

The tweeters where a bit bright IMO...I would have cut them a bit more.

I think you will really like them. Midbass if done right is very solid and the midrange is extremely detailed. I think you will notice details in recordings that you have never heard before. I know I did with mine.

Thanks for the help. I am in Nashville. I have always wanted to do a 3-way setup and now I have a vehicle to accomplish that in. I've also looked at the CDT Eurosport 6.5 3-way and Focal Polyglass 6.5 3-way. Anybody had experience with any of these setups?

Havent heard the Focal 3-ways, but the 2 way Polyglass comps, IMO sounded great!!!!! Some people find Focals tweets to be a bit harsh, but i didnt really think so, and the midbass was really good, overall a very very good comp set!!
