Most people have the common problem when first installing a system.... Rattling.... Not only does this decrease preformance but it down right sounds like shit... Most people use sound deadener for a quick fix. The thing i was wondering was would some high quality wood work better? (i.e. maple, cherry wood, ebony, etc...) My uncle, who is a home audio nut focuses on these aspects.. he spends hundred of thousands of dollars for his speakers, turntables, amplifiers, etc.... He said for better sound acoustics to use wood (thats why his interior walls are lined with maple wood.) it deflect sound waves and shit... iuno... so if i lined my trunk with high quality wood would it stop rattle and imporve my speakers preformace? what would you think is better deadener or wood? thx
