ok so any company that pays to have a product tested will always be better than what it is tested against....so that means there really isnt a better product because they all pay to have someone say it is better.....
sorry to burst your buble there bro but not once did it say it was better....the tester said they were almost identical.

hop off colemans nuts dude they sag already. but really the 40 mil was just as good in the real world non biased test. but i already helped him figure out what is better. even got him some samples of AT and hushmat to compare them too. he can make up his own mind from it

I have purchased several samples of different deadeners over the past few months. I have decided to do a huge comparison with all the deadeners. Deadeners I have are Peel & Seal, eDead 45, eDead 80, FatMat 50 mil, Dynamat Extreme, Second Skin Damp, Second Skin Damp Pro, Audio Technix 60, Audio Technix 80, and RAAMmat BXT II all of which will be included in the comparison.

FatMat and Peal & Seal have a strong odor to them that gives me a headache. Both also have a very thin aluminum layer. I am 99% sure that eDead 45's & 80's "aluminum layer" is plastic. It feels and looks different then other deadener that use a real aluminum. They are also not the thickness that Elemental Designs claims (as you can see above.) Dynamat Extreme, Second Skin Damp, Second Skin Damp Pro, Audio Technix 60, Audio Technix 80, and RAAMmat BXT II all seem to be good quality deadeners so far.

I will not be stating which deadeners I think are the best and which I think are the worst. I will simply be posting the results I get and you can decided for you self. I am open to any test ideas anyone has. The first test I did was a test where I tried to stretch the deadeners. Here are some pictures to show the results. Each stretched sample is placed next to the sample it was cut from in the picture.

Not sure what you dont understand about biased, but the guy doing a review from the competing company is definitely biased.

Yes it does. Thats why I read unbiased reviews from people who have used the product and have experience with other products rather than asking the vendor about their own product.

i love how you 2 think i am trying to convince you that AT is better...no where did i say that or insinuate that....it all boils down to personall preference....AT has proven itself in the lanes and so has SS. only TRUE way to do a real world test is to have the exact same setup in the exact same vehicle and the deadner applied exactly the same then put on the TL...other than that according to what you say every test done is then going to be biased.

nope not trolling...if someone wants opinions on deadner then yes i will give MY OPINION. and AT recomending a different deadner company that proves that AT is NOT BIASED if he points you to a different deadner than his own.
