I run SS because I get it next to nothing. It just happens to be the best on the market.

Well anyone would take something for basically nothing. But would you pay the premium to buy it vs other products?

Dont need to clamp it. Looks cheaply made, the board is cheaply made, the components inside are cheaply made. If it walks like a duck and looks like a duck its a duck.

I dont. I havent spent an arm and leg on my gear. Infact Ive probably spent maybe $4-500 on all of it between selling things off to make a profit and trading. Keep your eyes peeled and you can find high quality, used, and mint condition gear cheaper than you can get the garbage budget gear new.

AP is cheap garbage with crappy internals. Not exactly a class act example.

My entire system cost less than a grand. SS is consistently doing give aways on various forums for the price of shipping. Its not hard to win. Id rather wait around and win superior product and cover shipping than pay for an inferior product.

So what is your system that cost less than a grand? Guys with ex-wives like myself want to know.

I personally wouldn't run AP but I have one on the way for my ex step son. Everything I've seen says they do rated or better clamped. Sounds plenty good for a 16 year old kid IMHO.

Never clamped one, but there are plenty of them locally. If youve seen the junk components youd know.

Impossible. They are so cheap and quality. They must do rated power without clipping.
