I make my own sound dampening products. its a two part system that I designed. SoundGuard is a thermal acoustical insulation made with a densely needled web of polyester fiber with a peel n' stick backing. The web contains 100% polyester with no other foreign fibers. A foil layer with a high density scrim pattern has been applied to one side for thermal reflection. This keeps all road noise out, increases your SPL's, and it keeps your car cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter! once installed you'll have the quiet ride like driving in a luxury vechile.

Is the peel and stick layer an extestentional damper, constraint layer? mass loader? or is there no damper..

I read a bit on the site but still didnt quite understand how it works.

how do you accomplish the damping factor and transmission loss in with the fibers and foil?
