Dynamat Extreme???

i really need some kind of deadener for my trunk ...im think the dynamat extreme bulk pack..for anyone who has it can u tell me how muhc does it reduce your trunk and the rattle u hear inside your car...and does it make the bass louder inside the car..is the bass still going to be loud outside the car while eliminating the rattle

Don't go with Dynamat.....way expensive. Check into raammat (http://www.raamaudio.com), secondskin (http://www.secondskinaudio.com), B-quiet (http://b-quiet.com/), etc. Much more reasonably priced.

yes it basically lowers your sound floor in the car and it makes it so the bass doesnt leave the car as much

Well I have used over 3 Dynamat Extream Bulk Packs in my truck. It is one of the best sound deadeing mats I have used, it is expnesive though. When I did my blowthough I noticed that the Dynamt I did put on pretty much froze, it was hard as metal and didn't stick to the metal anymore. That is why I won't use Dynamat anymore, I would look into using Second Skin products instead, I've been pleased with SS so far.

I have only used dynamat products, so I am a little biased. I don't pay anymore than 115 a bulk pack online. This stuff is easy to use. Sticks like a mofo and will conform to almost anything.

ANT man you are reccommending dynamat and not even going to mention your product. i am shocked. Well in case you did not know ANT has a product called Second Skin which is a damplifier like dynamat. There i did it for you since you didn't

you would be hard pressed to find an example of me ever reccomending my products.

That would take guts because you are basically telling them to buy from your competition. I would at least say something in your sig or what not. Well i will do it for you if you won't. I will do anything for a forum member. I would rather see them get the business than a mainstream company.

But any how ANT has a product called Second Skin. Talk to him about it and check it out before you get dynamat. Maybe he will send you a sample to check it out. Great product.

Ant is a great guy, been good to me so far. Also as of now I have like his products, and I really liked STFU-80 over Dynamat Extream. Though I will have to wait and see how STFU-80 holds up over time, Dynamat Extream didn't do too well. I'm looking for a newer truck/suv and one of the first things I do will be sound deaden the intire truck, I'll probably use all SS Spectrum liquid sound deadeners in it, except for the plastic and the inner doors, that's where I'll use mats.

ANT is a great guy, haven't ever heard him reccomend his product without mentioning someone else's as well. Either way though, from what I hear it's great stuff. Visit http://www.secondskinaudio.com but don't get impatient if some of the links don't work, he just got a new site up and running a few days ago and is currently working out the bugs.
