dvd player for avic d1...HELP PLEASE

alright i just got my hands on a pioneer avic d1 used for 1 month and in FLAWLESS condition for 700...

i have two questions...first will the dvdroms from the D2 run on the D1? i can get my hands on them butr i was hoping to have an answer first

second question: i want to add a dvd player and tv tuner....what dvd players will go with the D1 and maintain touchscreen for the dvd menu and stuff....also if the only one is that six disc thats like 400$ what other dvd player and tv tuner combo should i get to just hookup to the D1 and use the remote to control them...

Well, I can help you with one of those questions. Avic411.com, I think, is where i read that the new Nav cd's for the D2 are compatible with the D1.
