dvd brake modules

Anybody know where to start looking for one of these? If there is a way around it that would be nice too.

i dont understand your question...

if you are talkin about watching a dvd while driving then all you do is take the wire that says brake lamp and wire it to the ground wire

is it that easy? My buddy said he had to have a mod or interface on his alpine because there was a series of ebrake regular ebrake things he had to do? is that not true?

the pac tr7 has a default program for alpine units. once installed w/ an alpine unit, it will perform the ebrake routine needed for dvd viewing/tuning once the car turns on

alpine requires you to do a dance w/ the footbrake and the ebrake...

and TS... search the pac tr7 and see if it'll work for your Dual.

Most newer units that no longer works on. They are usually a sequence.

with my iva-d300, i just put the wire on a switch, and on the other 2 posts attached a ground, and i just need to rock my switch back and fourth twice and tap the brake pedal and im good to go, i dont have any interface or anything, just a simple rocker switch from radio shack, but those interface may be nice . . . .

Pac-TR7 is for Alpine it will not work for other units like Dual.

lowend brands like Dual you can just ground the wire.

Most newer units that no longer works on. They are usually a sequence.

Some guy came in the shop, with like 3 toggel switches...it was hilarious watching him flip switches back and fourth in sequence to override the e-brake saftey feature...

The Module is much better.

Newer Jensen units have a brake sequence but i am so cool i have a code to overide It........
