DVC Wiring Question

Wire them series/ parallel for a 4 ohm load and run the Pioneer bridged. I had it set up for years like that with no issues. Just keep your gains down with those subs.

 
The *best* way to drive VCs from separate channels is to do a mono mix of the signals before the amp so that both amp channels have exactly the same signal on them.

However...

You will not damage a DVC sub by running the VCs off different channels. Even if the channels aren't well matched. Matching the gains is just to make sure you get as much in-phase power as possible into the sub for max efficiency. You can actually drive the VCs with completely different signals and not damage the sub at all.
