Is it possible to run a DVC sub with 1 voice coil running the left channel and the other voice coil running the right channel without damaging the sub in the long run?

Wire them series/ parallel for a 4 ohm load and run the Pioneer bridged. I had it set up for years like that with no issues. Just keep your gains down with those subs.
its not another build its a question my lil brother wanted to kno and i didn't know how to answer him and he dosent have internet so i figured i would ask u guys lol
The *best* way to drive VCs from separate channels is to do a mono mix of the signals before the amp so that both amp channels have exactly the same signal on them.
However...
You will not damage a DVC sub by running the VCs off different channels. Even if the channels aren't well matched. Matching the gains is just to make sure you get as much in-phase power as possible into the sub for max efficiency. You can actually drive the VCs with completely different signals and not damage the sub at all.
