DVC limit

I have an orion XTR 500 15" and a JBL BP 300.1 amp, the amp is 150 watts X 2 channels. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to run 150 watts through each voice coil by running two sets of speasker wire into my box, obviously running each set from the speaker terminals to the amp channel outputs. Don't do it. Not only will it sound bad, it will ruin you're sub. If you hook a single dvc speaker up in stereo, one coil will push while the other pulls and the speaker will be ruined. It must be hooked up in mono.
