im not familiar with the sub, but familiar enough with RF stuff...
and if they are listing the max at 1kw, its probably rated at closer to 300-400 RMS (guessing)

The rms is listed as 1000

4 0hm or 2 ohm sub will work.Just go to rockfordfosgate.com..4 ohm can be wired to a 2 ohm load and a 2 ohm will make .5 ohm

You can't wire a 2 ohm sub to .5, it's either 1 or 4.
